The Art Of Camgirl Multi-Tasking
I don't mean to oversell what I'm doing or glorify camgirls, but I'm going to do it.
Camgirls are amazing multi-taskers. It's the same as being a social media influencer, really, the same skillset, the same tools, the same work ethic required to be able to bring your best self to the cam room.
For one thing, cam girls manage multiple social media platforms and maintain interactions with people on all these platforms. Most people think this is relatively easy to do, but that's because they don't have hundreds of friends they talk to daily. Camgirls do - - I'm in tens and sometimes up to a hundred DM conversations a day. For most people, that would be exhausting. For camgirls, it's just something we do in between actual tasks.
Tasks including planning out shows, getting the necessary apparel, accessories, props, working out what lighting works best for a particular ensemble. Tasks also include staying updated regarding ToS and rules on social media sites, and pivoting when necessary to avoid accounts being banned or shut down.
Content creation - I could write a whole blog post about the complexities of content creation (and I will!). Content creation involves ideation, thinking of an overall plotline and story, storyboarding it so one has a good idea of the camerawork and shots that will be involved. Planning relevant outfits, environment, and, most importantly, ensuring that the content is fresh and new. And that's step one. Once you've shot the takes needed, you also need to edit, splice and post-produce. I like adding intertitles and weaving a storyline and textual matter into my content, so that's an additional time investment.
Finally, and perhaps, most crucially, to be able to keep it fun and engaging for yourself. To introduce new games, new routines, new formats, because, at the end of the day, it's entertainment, and, in the words of the philosopher Freddie Mercury, The Show Must Go On!
